Microalbumin (μAlb)
Autokit Micro AlbuminFor In Vitro Diagnostic Use
Intended Use
The Autokit Micro Albumin is an in vitro assay for the quantitative determination of albumin in human urine.
Method
Turbidimetric Immunoassay
Special Characteristics
Autokit Micro Albumin is based on turbidimetric immunoassay which allows extensive linear range (0.94-500 μg/mL). The value is determined by ERM-DA470 (IRMM) as primary standard.
Principle of the Method
When a sample is mixed with Buffer and Antibody, albumin in the sample combines specifically with the anti-human albumin antibody (goat) in the Antibody to yield an insoluble aggregate that causes increased turbidity in the solution. The degree of turbidity of solution can be measured optically and is proportional to the concentration of albumin in the patient's sample.
Standard Procedure
Application to automated analyzers and Package are available upon request
