Intended Use
HR II Series P-HR II is an in vitro assay for the quantitative determination of inorganic phosphorus in serum or urine.
Method
Molybdate Direct method
Principle of the Method
When Color A and Color B are added to a sample, inorganic phosphorus in the sample is combined with molybdate in Color B to form phosphomolybdic acid, which has a maximum absorption in ultra violet range.
Inorganic phosphorus in sample is determined by measuring absorbance of the phosphomolybdic acid formed.
