With the combined use of Pepsinogen I and II, the degree of gastric mucosal atrophy can be examined, thus enabling the evaluation of stomach health based on the classification test for gastric cancer risk (ABC classification).
L-Type H. Pylori Antibodies・J is convenient ready-to-use liquid type reagent which utilizes latex method. This reagent is a liquid reagent which is highly stable desined for general biochemical automated analyzers. Use two kinds of East Asia strain as antigens.

Principle of the Method

When a sample is mixed with Buffer and Latex Reagent, H. pylori antibody in the sample combines specifically with the latex sensitized with H. pylori antigen in the Latex Reagent to yield an insoluble aggregate which causes increased turbidity in the solution. The degree of turbidity of solution can be measured optically and is proportional to the concentration of H. pylori antibody in the patient's sample.
